First Month is OVER and Goals for Week 5

Great week everybody! We logged a record 176 miles! As a team, it was our best week yet!  I can't tell you enough how impressed I am with every one's efforts! I hadn't heard an update yet from Rory about if she drank her minimum water everyday.....

Highlights:
  • Achieving our goals set last week (I hadn't heard an update yet from Rory about if she drank her minimum water everyday.)
  • Personal records on mileage for Brian, Jeanette,
  • Weight loss for Colleen and Brian!
  • Rory proving you aren't cursed if you are named W.O.W.
  • Ryan working out 3 times on Saturday to achieve his goal of 25 miles.
2 goals for Week 5:
  1. Come up with another personal goal that will make you sweat a little more, push you a little more, or drink/eat better than last week.
  2. In honor of April 29 - the upcoming wedding nuptials and to build some more camaraderie- I am challenging each of us to complete 4 sets of 29 of calisthenics of your choice this week. Try not to choose the easiest for you, but the one that will challenge you. Anyone game?
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

  2. Brian's goal: To do another 6-miler, and to have at least (1) weightlifting session this week.

Colleen's goal: To log 12 miles before Thursday, so that she can use Thursday to Prepare for a visit from The Eskridges on Friday.

  3. I did not get in 8 glasses of water each day last week, but I definitely did increase my consumption of water, so not too shabby.

Since we have started this challenge, I have not eaten French Fries at all, which if you know me, you would know that they are my very favorite food and were previously consumed several times a week. So, I will continue with that. Excercise-wise, I will bike again at least 2 times this week, in addition to my Aqua fitness classes. (Already biked 10 miles just today. Yea!)

  5. Okay, today I have met a personal goal and am 1/12 of the way to my New Year's Resolution. I haven't had McDonald's all month!!!!

Also, Jeanette was talking earlier about sympathy, I just renewed my driver's license for turning 30 and had to go to the DMV. I want some sympathy too! : >

  7. I did 4 sets of mountain climbers and 4 sets of girlie push-ups.
I also did my timed mile tonight - 7:43. Wish I could run more than one like that then I'd have a chance of keeping up with Ryan.
2 more days to finish my goals for the week.
