- We all work as a team to obtain our goal of 1800 miles (which is the distance from Indiana to the Dominican Republic), and everyone's individual goal will be to exercise for 4 hours or 16 miles each week.
- Each hour working out = 4 "miles" logged. Or, if you ran, biked, etc. more than 4 miles in a given workout, count the larger mileage.
- Post your mileage on the blog at least weekly (or multiple times within the week--whatever works best), and list what you did to obtain your miles. The weeks will run Sunday to Saturday, and each week will be its own post. The administrator (Jeanette) will keep track of totals--all you have to do is click on the post called "Log for the week of x/x/2011" and add a comment that lists what you did. For example, go ahead and click on this week's log, called "Log for the week of 1/1/2011," and you'll see Brian's and Jeanette's headstart.
- It's on the honor system as far as what counts as exercise--just use your best judgment (e.g., Zumba totally counts, but going upstairs to play a video game--maybe not).
- We can all hold each other accountable. If you need more help for motivation - post here!
- Each week a W.O.W will be announced (Work Out Winner). For the WOW each week, it may have a different criteria - one may be the most hours, or most actual mileage, used the most different methods of exercising, most encouraging, etc., so stay on your toes! It will be entirely up to the administrator to determine the W.O.W. criteria each week. Check the W.O.W. page to see the winners!
