It was a rough week between illnesses, semester craziness, and work craziness, but we have one more day. Don't worry about the miles, just get your heart rate up, break a good sweat. Remember why you are doing what you are doing - to lose weight, get in shape, feel better.....show yourself off in Dominican Republic..... Also seeing if you want to join with me in making a goal for next week. It can be anything you want such as trying a new exercise class, running 4miles straight, working out for an hour every other day. And maybe it also includes a food aspect - eat more fruit and veggies, eat out less, drink more water.... If you are interested just post a comment to this post so we can hold you accountable. If you are successful make sure you have a reward for yourself at the end of the week!
Brian's Goals for WEEK 4: Mine will be to log more miles than anybody else... With at least 6 of those miles being a solid run.
ReplyDeleteJeanette's Goal: My original goal was to do 2 interval workouts - 1 on the treadmill and 1 on the bikes. Then I saw Brian's goals. So now mine is to make Brian work for his first goal.
My goal is to do more than the minimum 16 miles (even if it's just 17), with at least one weight workout in the mix. My arms are in serious need of some tonin'!
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to log more miles than anybody else this week. W/ (6) of those miles coming from a solid 6-mile run. I did two 4-milers without much trouble right before I got sick so the 6-miler is sitting on my shoulder laughing at me right now and I want to brush it off.
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the water this week. I can't remember how much you are supposed to drink...8 glasses a day, maybe? So 64 oz of water every day this week. I accomplished that yesterday, so on to today.
ReplyDeleteRory- Did you get your water in today?
ReplyDeleteI'm halfway to my goal. I got my treadmill interval workout in tonight. Midweek I'm hoping to get the bike done.
I did get my water in on Monday, but I had to get up a few times in the night to go to the bathroom. Note to self: drink water earlier in the day.
ReplyDelete@Jeanette: I'm just now realizing that part of your goal was to make me work for my goal... I think you're certainly accomplishing your goal. Nice work! Now lay off a little.
ReplyDeleteLet's go Brian! I'm beginning to think you are all talk and no action ;)
