This week I have a new challenge for us. If you are not interested please post here so we can update the challenge. No pressure, but just trying to find new ways to sweat a little more and push a little harder to get the weight off and get that beach body.
My challenge for us this week is to see who can log the most mileage with the following rules and other stuff:
- We'll work in teams. The teams are Jeanette and Rory - Team RJ and Colleen, Melissa, and Kelly - Team C, and Da Boyz - Brian and Ryan.
- Each person can only count 20miles of biking toward the challenge total, but if more biking is done, the time will be counted instead of the mileage for this week's challenge. (The total mileage, however, will be counted for the overall Dominican Fitness Challenge to be add to our team's total mileage.)
- You don't have to log the most mileage, you just don't want to be in last place.
- This challenge is to encourage hitting the gym and getting more workouts this week.
- The losing team will be part of a sand sculpture of the other teams choosing and building with picture taking included. (unless there is another suggestion - feel free) - About an hour time frame given to build the sculpture and pictures.
Okay, I'm in. Since I don't bike, I guess that part is easy for me....so, Colleen and Kelly, you can do the fully 20 miles if you want! Sounds fun! We can be the C team. Clinebell and Coughenour! I am most definitely not the A team in this challenge!! haha
ReplyDeleteI like this team challenge! I was already thinking about skipping Aqua Zumba tomorrow evening, but not anymore. I need to get in all of the non-biking miles I can, so I will make it to the pool tomorrow night. I will not let my teammate down!! Go team RJ!!
ReplyDeleteYay! We are off to a good start C team! Let's keep it up! What a fun challenge. I have to say though, I hated the stationary bike, but the weather is supposed to be decent after today so maybe I'll get out on the trail on a real bike...that I can do!
ReplyDeleteGreat! I'm in! I'll try to get a good start today instead of waiting until Wednesday or Tuesday like I normally do. Kelly, I'll reserve Saturday morning for biking at least half the allotted bike miles; do you think you can get the other half? And to catch up on others comments from last week...I can't wait to do the honors and pour the ice water down Mr. Watson's shorts. Thank you, Ryan. He'll rue the day he ever interrupted my nice, hot shower!
