Week 6 in Review
Another week down. Getting close to being half way through the challenge and we are ahead of schedule (mileage-wise) so keep it up! We've got to be proud of ourselves for being under 990 now!
Highlights for the week:
apparently some friendly competition between Brian and Ryan caused some high individual mileages
Way to go everybody! Brian and Ryan, you guys are beasts! I actually got 2 10 mile bike rides in last week and another one in yesterday to start the week off right.
It's amazing how I am finding it easier and easier to do 10 miles. I get to around 5 and think "I'm getting kind of tired. I could stop now." But then I realize that I haven't broken too much of a sweat, so I put on a much more up-tempo song like "Little Lion Man" by Mumford & Sons or "When I Grow Up" by the Pussycat Dolls and bike as fast as I possibly can. I am actually enjoying it and I NEVER thought I would say that!
@Jeanette: I'm not worried about it for my personal mileage listing, but I just got around to submitting my Saturday morning run. I did 3 miles in the 25 degree weather running up and down the side of Sandstone mountain along Meadow Creek road. 3 miles is still 3 more miles for our overall total. If it's not too much trouble can you factor it in to the week 6 totals?

I see a 15miler in your future by the end of Feb. :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go everybody, we have less than a thousand miles to go.
ReplyDeleteSweet, Rory! & I agree with Jeanette, you'll definitely have at least one 15 miler by the end of the month.
